A Hot Soup Kitchen was held on International Women's Day in Kamloops. A couple of sisters and Southern B.C. Member at Large, Ann Cody presented the cheque of $2,000.00 to the director Michele Walker, of the Kamloops Women's Shelter. It was a great day and lots of clothes and food were distributed out.
Meanwhile in Victoria, Sister Barbie Zipp (R) very proudly to presents a $2,000 cheque from Unifor National to Tracy Lubick of The Victoria Women's Transition House for International Women's Day.
