The Bargaining Committee is pleased to report that members at Clipper Navigation have voted to accept the tentative agreement with Clipper Navigation.
The new agreement includes:
• Paid education Leave increased to $.08 cents per hour
• Social Justice Fund increased to $500.00
• Local Administration fund increased to $500.00
• An additional week of vacation for employees with 18 years of service or longer with 10% vacation pay.
• Health & Welfare contributions paid for an extra 90 days while off on sick leave
• A “MADE IN CANADA” provision for Canadian Made Uniforms and a “FAIR TRADE JURISDICTION” clause where Canadian Made products are not available.
• C.H.I.P.S - Benefit increases; vision care, major dental, EFAP, AD&D, Acupuncture, Massage therapy coverage, out of province/country medical insurance and much more.
• Wages: 0%, 2% Reservations 2.5% Dock, 2% Reservations 2.5% Dock
